well lads having major issues with geting my build finished couldnt get it started for ages found out then i was getn no power to the ecu while cranking, dropped to an auto electrictan he said the back of the ignition is faulty and itll start when he by passes that, but runs very lumpy and back fires and sometimes cuts out all is this is without fuel pump on , with the fuel pump on it wont run at all.
already checked that fuel lines were on right ones
also that plug leads were correct .
an other suggestions?

 

So your saying your motor runs without fuel? If you add fuel it doesn't, right? \

That seems odd to me.

 

you might have the most economical car in the world. runs on air only.
and what is the "back of the ignition"?

i have the fuel pump wired to a switch , when its off itll run for a short time (probably from whats left in the lines) but when its switched on it will not run. back of the ignition is back of the ignition when u put the key in the electrictian say its faulty but when he by passes it would start .

 

Sounds like u fail at wiring
