Default Stock radiator mounting brackets : (

Ok im fed up with trying to search for answers as to why, and I wish my camera wasn't broken anymore, but it is so no pictures but ill try to find a picture and edit it to portray what im trying to say.

My radiator brackets are failing, and its not just on my 90, but on my 97 they failed completely and Ive jimmyrigged it to keep the radiator inside the engine bay! Apparantly the radiator brackets are just glued on or something and after a good bit of rattling around, that glue has failed ... i dont know how else to explain it, im gonna look for pictures now

(thanks scott) ok this is where the brackets are failing. They have simply detatched themselves from the radiator core and IDK what to do beside getting a new radiator.

Same thing happened to my 97. Two choices, remove the rad and get them brazed on or what I did was JB Weld them back onto the core.

Just to make a followup to this post, both my 97 (stock) and 90' (turbo) were seeing this crap happen. I took the 97 radiator to a shop for repair for $35 and upon recieving the repaired item i asked what they used to solder it together and they said they use 60/40. So after watching a few videos at muggy-weld (http://www.muggyweld.com/video.html) I went about fixing the bracket on my 90 and it came out pretty good. Just some 60/40 Silver/tin, a propane torch, a wire brush, and a bit of black paint + clearcoat and it looks ballin.
