Default to do list

gonna try again, my first list timed out and went elsewhere. I own a 92 turbo miata, set up for auto-x, no heater, ac, or radio, but it's pretty quick weighs in at 2054 according to the former owner.

done- twin cooling fans
done- new fuel tank, filler neck, walbro 255 pump, filter, lines
done- upgrade to 1.8 driveshaft, diff, axles, spindles, calipers, rotors
done- new top
done- case vent filter, turbo heat shield,
done- new speedo cable, heat shielding for all cables, wires near downpipe
done- cut and refit downpipe to avoid steering rod and bell housing
done- new manifold, turbo, and downpipe gaskets
done- fabricate adapter plates and mount mercury cougar spoiler
done- fabricate and install naca ducts on headlight covers

flush mount headlight kit
turn signal induction (making my own to get bigger intake ports)
water/meth injection kit or e85 tune (still researching)
get a working tach
redo the corner balancing (former owner outweighs me by 90 lbs)
have the car re-tuned
re-wrap the roll bar
new back plate (where the license plate mounts)

and last, but not least.......

buy another miata body in good condition and do the LS1 swap w/turbo or SC

Gut upper plenum, upgrade to 2 1/2" intercooler plumbing, get rx-8 injectors cleaned, swap SR20 turbo with a Godspeed GT3076, sell SR20 turbo/ FM turbine outlet/ airbox/ inlet elbow, fab up new turbo outlet and DP w/ crank evac unit and check valve, put flex join in midpipe, get hard dog door bars, finish spare head, remove engine, redrill pan for -10AN fitting and oil temp sending unit, hone cylinders, swap in M-tuned rods and new rings, that's all I can think of off the top of my head right this second.

ugh...
  • finish swapping pulleys/clutch/etc... over to new motor
  • splice necessary connectors into 1993 harness from 2002 harness
  • finish turbo oil/coolant lines
  • drill/tap AF manifold for 10x125 hardware
  • clean engine bay
  • clean transmission
  • install motor/tranny
  • remove soft top frame (it's all torn up and i have never used it)
  • install rollbar
  • install new fuel pump
  • fabricate downpipe
  • mount new IC
  • construct/weld charge piping
  • figure out why headlight motors don't function
  • attempt to start car on MS3
  • flush all fluids/lines
  • wash excessive numbers of dicks off the car
  • push weight?

Those are the major items, anyway. Lots of little odds and ends as well. Hoping to be driving the car May 1st.
