Only takes losing one car to fire and you buy huge extinguishers for all your cars.

NC PRHT Slushbox w/paddleshifter to use as a DD whilst I rebuild the "play" budget.

Once I'm in the green again, find a '94-'97 and get to work. Build list includes:

- Ford "Boss" 302, stroked to 347ci @ 450hp/400lb-ft
Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-6007-Z347*]

- T-65 6-speed tranny (GM gearset)

- Ford 8.8 IRS from a '99 Cobra

- 3.55 ring and pinion

- Hard Dog Double Duece Polished roll bar

- Large front rotors, w/2-pot (or even 3-pot) brakes

- Misc suspension and interior bits at needed

- AWD Muruyama gauges

- Momo three-spoke mahogany wheel

- 16x7s wearing 205/40s up front, 16x8s wearing 245/35s in back

- 3-in dual exhaust from headers to tail

- Wrapped up with the Simpson Design Italia body kit.
Simpson Design Miata Italia Body Conversion Kit

Nobody would know what it was, but would know well enough to leave it alone...

Whatever chassis I got would be stripped bare and stitch-welded, then painted. Someday I may do this to the one I have now, we'll see.

Targa style?

I would get either an 01+ or a 1.8 NA, and do some crazy *** fab work on it like splitime did. If this one doesn't die then it may see it in its lifetime

I would get a classic or a Corvett.

And kept the girls turbo for play. I would crank it to 9psi.

The next miata I get will be 94+. Most likely a NA def not an NC. And I am flying to that car to check it out very throughly, aka seaching it top to bottom for any issues.

Side note, my 90 had a few issues that were unknown to me at the time of purchase.

NB with an LS1.

That said, I'm pretty happy with my build so far, even if it has been postponed a few weeks due to bodywork (finally getting it painted).

RX-7 + LS1/2/6/7

Miata is fun, but for me, it would be time to move on.
