Is there any type of strength benefit with these over the 6UL. In most peoples opinion does the .3lb weight difference justify the price difference?

Both flow formed for strength, you can't feel difference of .3 pounds, but that's not the end of the discussion.

The Enkei is made in Japan, all our other flow formed choices (6UL, Storm, Dial IN) are made in China. That still makes some difference in precision. The made in china wheels are better than ever before and easily now control the market....yet for some, the quality detail that comes with 'made in japan' will be worth the extra cost. I can still see the difference in quality when I pull them out of the boxes to add tires, the made in Japan wheels like this Enkei 15x8 are still a bit better in person with the details, finish consistency, weight consistency, etc.

we see the same thing in brakes too. the made in china brakes use lower quality materials. kills the performance, failure rate skyrockets.
