New LIGHT Flow Formed Miata Wheels: Konig Helix 15x7, 15x8, 15x9
Hi Guys
Got the first sets of the new Konig Helix Miata Wheels!
First to arrive is Silver 15x7, with Silver 15x9 coming later this week. Other colors to follow soon.
Here is the first production 15x7 Helix on the scale, very light at 11.1 pounds!

Advanti and Konig are both brands represented by the YHI International conglomerate. Enkei is also related and what you are seeing in these wheels is the proliferation of Enkei's "MAT" manufacturing technology (basically, the flow-forming on the rims). The exact relationships between these various companies is a bit fuzzy, but there seems to be a lot of technology/design sharing and many of the wheel designs are made in YHI's manufacturing facilities in the Far East.

This wheel was to be the Advanti Racing Storm II, but mixup at SEMA had it in the KONIG box and the Konig side of the company grabbed it with both hands and never let go until it was apparently too late for the Advanti crew to grab it back.
So, you get the Advanti in the Konig box for the price of the Konig.
