Replaced the slave when I did the clutch, it was due for a change and the boot was in bad shape. When I replaced the clutch I totally drained the system and flushed about half a bottle of fluid through it until it came out spotless on the other end. that shouldn't be the issue. I also adjusted the pedal about half a thread past where it had to be to get into gear with the car running... have about 1/3-1/4" freeplay before noticable pressure plate effort.

I wasn't really sure how stiff the 3X plate would be, but decided to go with it anyways. So I just orderd the 3x and 6 puck sprung... Lets see how it turns out.

I'm telling you its not bad at all. Like the stock clutch in my 5.0 Mustang.

Ordered mine yesterday.

Got a solid disk 3X pressure plate, and I can't wait.

Mine seems to be gripping better now... I don't know what happened, but the slippage in the clutch has been replaced by slippage in the tires. going sideways at speed is "different".

Mine have arrived, will be installed in a few weeks.

Good to hear your clutch is doing better Arkmage. I ended up going w/ the 3x from your previous post. I shall now blame you for my lopsided calves!

Just so everyone knows, Igor is still honoring the group buy rates. I just got a 2X kit for my car. He said it was ok for peeps to continue to call and still get the rates originally listed. Just mention Miataturbo.

I just ordered mine. 6 puck disk with 2x PP. I'm hoping it's the right setup, I REALLY don't want to have to replace the clutch for a while.

Just ordered a 1.6 six puck with a 2x pp. Should be more than sufficient to hold the power I'm planning.

Now I just need to find a 1.6l flywheel.

What am I missing here? I just went to Clutchnet and online without talking to anyone the price for the sprung organic disc and the yellow pressure plate and the price was $270. The group buy was $355? Really, what am I missing?!?

The red 2X PP is the same $170 as the yellow. Again, am I missing something? The group buy was $80 more than the published prices?!?

that's interesting....I don't remember what the sites prices were at the time of the group buy. Maybe they've been dropped since then. Our price included shipping but I can't imagine it cost $80 to ship....
