GB Billet Oilpump Gears
International mail gets held up in customs, especially if it's metal.
No worries yet, it can take several weeks.
As far as gears go, as I said before, everyone back off for a moment, there is nothing wrong with the gears unless you have a 01+ motor, and Travis is addressing the situation.
Just relax...

I guess if someone has one of those motors they could pull it off and check. Sometimes part numbers can be misleading though that would also be worth a looky-loo.
My pump should go out tomorrow. I'd suggest the VVT folks sit tight till he figures out what he's going to do - odds are once he decides to issue VVT gears, you'll have enough time to return your set before the VVT ones are even built.
And maybe this time we'll get bubble wrap. :-P
I got my gears on Wednesday, the 5th. (Toronto)
went right thru customs and into my mail box
the gears look quite good... just one tiny tiny nick...
now I just need to get modivated and start working on the engine.
thank you Travis....

I got mine today (Vancouver, BC, Canada). Seem to be in ok shape with a couple very minor nicks.
But I am curious whether these will fit in my MSM. I have no intention of installing these anytime soon so here's hoping someone else does...

Mine arrived as well.... quite covered with minor dings, but they should all be OK, just need to file off all the high spots. Looking closely at the dings makes me not worry about the hardness one bit, they are are 100% plastic deformation, no chips at all.
MadMalc,
I'm putting a hold on these until we get a few more reports in on their fit. These should fit the 91 1600's so long as it is the long nose crank version. The shipping & cost of part would be right at 200 U.S.D. to the U.K.

After a near infinite set of unrelated hold ups, the '01 pump should be going out today. Sorry for the delay, but it's 2nd day air, so you should be able to have it measured over the weekend. :-)
They probably wouldn't get mad if you stole 0.2% of their measurement equipment. Do so, give it to me, and I'll sell some of it on ebay. 0.2% of infinite is all the money I think I need. :-)
Hang onto it till the gears are done, don't want you to need another donor after the fact to test fit in. Feel free to accidentally resurface it. :-P

I'm not sure who your asking. I meant to tell you your gears did get here, and they were most professionally wrapped
As from tracking number I'm not sure what your asking for?
The link for the clearances are located here thanks to Abe: AbeFM : photos : Oil Pump Specs 2000- powered by SmugMug
This job is reasonably drop in, pull the oil pump cover, pull old gears out, put new gears in. Then check the clearances, and retighten cover and replace everything that you took off to get the oil pump out. The tough part is getting the oil pump housing out with the motor in the car. I'm going to be working on this once I get my new composite cam gears in, and I have a reason to go in there. I'm going to see if this is possible with the oil pan on. So sometime within the next few weeks I'll have a write up either way.
