Default LS Coil Dwell Settings

Decided to go LS coils so I can resolve the tach issue. I have seen the MS dwell settings for LS coils and a good idea of the range. Just wondering if anyone as a RPM x Load or Voltage table to share. Also, my understanding from the MS threads is that there may be a battery correction needed? Can someone share their Haltech setup for LS coils? Thanks.

I think I calculated one a while back, have it in a spreadsheet at home, will share later.

Oh, sorry. I see now you were looking for Haltech (I search for new threads, not necessarily by forum). Will leave this post in case someone else is looking for MS.

No, thanks. I have reviewed that thread. I am not sure what %age means though...do you know? Is it something super obvious I am missing?

Yeah, MS uses % of dwell time so I made an excel sheet and converted all the values off the FF site into ms from %.

Ok, so these tables were on the FF website

So from that I derived these numbers

Thanks for the calcs. I noticed that FF's table and the table in the thread posted above are very different. Any thoughts on that? Why the difference? Is the D585 different?

So these settings worked. Thanks. I do wonder if the dwell at 10v and below is little high. Under cranking, it took a few turns of the key to start. After I had it running and the battery charged a bit, it started more easily. So, I might reduce the low voltage, low RPM (511) values to around 4.5 to see if that improves cranking. Unlike MS, there is not cranking dwell in the Elite that I have been able to find.

Noob question.

Why not use the dwell settings from haltech site for ls2 coils?
