It's based on the premise that the person indicated near the center of the drawing is unable to directly observe the area outside of his field of view, and therefore he cannot say with certainty that said area is not filled with Hitlers. (We are assuming that there are no mirrors present.)
An alternate way of thinking about it would be to point out that until the person actually turns around and looks behind him, that area is both filled with Hitlers and not filled with Hitlers.

It's a thought experiment which explores a basic scientific principle. It's not meant to be taken literally.

So....this bitch is sitting in the right most lane doing barely 50mph (the speed limit I'm assuming since she video taped it) and not letting the truck by because shes an *******....I'd be pissed off too...especially if she flipped me off first on the way by.
Shame he wrecked his truck over it though...maybe got a little too stirred up.

He's not blocking any traffic.
The video started, obviously, after the intial incident, but we have idea what happened at first other than the truck driver tailgating, flicking off the other driver, and then crashing like a moron.
After that was all said above, I did look at the video's comments and the drivers states that the truck was tailgating for a few minutes, but they were also passing traffic that was in the right lane, so he didn't get over to let him pass in the left lane. It was wet on the ground at the time.
