It's ridiculous, I live in a large city and pay more for internet than my girlfriend in her small town. I think her town, population wise might have a few more people than the building I live in. Sorry OT

Over here many states allow "no helmets" except if a child under xx years. I was getting gas the other day and there was a young girl (17ish) riding a fairly fast Japanese bike with her younger sister on the back (10ish). Older girl no helmet + shorts and bikini top. Younger sister helmet + shorts and t-shirt.

I guess some parents just don't give a ****...

I gave up motorcycles 15yrs ago. Too many stupid drivers around.

Hope you heal up quick.
I gave up motorcycles 11 years ago after a nasty wreck and concussion at the track.

Out of all of the plot-holes in the Terminator series, this one bothers me almost as much as how, at the end of T2, when they "destroy" the two Terminators by tossing / lowering them into a crucible of molten metal, nobody bothers to think about the fact that after all the wacky **** that's happened in there, a reasonable factory manager would likely order a metallurgical analysis of the material in question, which would reveal small traces of futuronium in the batch. leading to a repeat of the Dyson Incident a few years later.
I often think these exact same things about the terminator movies. The Cyberdyne Systems model 101 could hop in a semi truck and understand the exact transmission shifting (similar to the pilot program upload in the matrix when Trinity needed to fly the helicopter)...but he can't sense ft lbs on a breaker bar?

Apparently, I do not understand the rules of the Goodwood race...

In unrelated news, so very pretty:

Such brake, many stopping:

I know what you're thinking. "Did he mount six racks or only five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is a Core i9, the most powerful CPU in the world and would blow your Passmark clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

[serious post]

Also, today I remember Lexi, the bestest little fuzzbutt a man could have, who declared her independence from life on this date, five years ago.

Ah. You can see all the orange flight test wiring on it in that shot of the MLG.

Yes.

And also in the many racks full of orange flight test wiring and instrumentation in the main cabin.

It's ironic. I helped build that plane. I was there for the 1st flight ceremony of the -9. My mind just went to the -8 planes when I saw test equipment wiring. I think line 5 is the lowest line number -8 still flying, and we're using it as a test bed.

I love when they hot rod those beautiful birds... nothing like it IMO. I just wish someone was willing to nut up and roll one again.
