Maybe about a year ago it was bedtime at my household. Which means, a bedtime story needs to be read. My sons selection was "fox in socks" by Dr. Seuss. Holy crap, what a long, miserable, bedtime story that is to read. And then I discovered this, which changes my whole perception about that book.

Don't drop in on a dolphin's wave, man.
You have have to wonder if they went back to the pod, and he was high-flippering the other dolohins all like "Dude, you see me take that human out? You SEE that ****? "

That said, this box looks promising: https://www.cdw.com/product/StarTech...er-Kit/2935164
I've got a pair of these boxes up and running in my office, through ~ 500 feet of RG-59. They're working like champs. I did speedtests before and after installing them, and while my ping time increased from 12ms to 13ms, my data transfer rate actually increased very slightly. I'm writing that off to coincidence, but long story short, they're passing in excess of 80Mb/s bi-directionally with no problem over this cable run.

Been a while since I saw a timing device with dwell measured in degrees.
Reminds me of the old air-cooled VWs. I used to set the points gap with a business card on those distributors, which worked out to be just about perfect.
Bosch used to have such gorgeous diagrams...
