Amateur hour.
Last year, I had chest surgery while awake and still wearing my boots.
The doc seemed to feel it was urgent. I guess that, normally, air is only supposed to enter / exit the lungs via one central hole. When there are additional holes, they kind of frown on that.
Also, these are some seriously good mushrooms.

I wonder how I ever lived without it.
(Sidebar: I actually do keep spare earbud/mic packages, new in box, in my car, my office at work, my home office, and at both transmitter sites, just in case I forget to carry one of the twoI normally use with me to whatever site, and/or in case one of them breaks.)
