If you're willing to drive something on which the shifter is located directly in front of your genitalia, then things like motor vehicle regulations are probably not of great concern to you.

And, at any rate, to get an IDP only costs $15 and doesn't even involve an exam. It just translates the text of your US/CA/AU license into the most commonly-spoken EU languages.
From the US Federal Trade Commission:
An international driving permit (IDP) translates your government-issued driver’s license into 10 languages. Although your U.S. driver’s license lets you drive in many foreign countries, the translations in the IDP are intended to minimize language barriers when you drive in countries where English is not widely spoken or understood. That’s all an IDP does.
From the French Embassy to the United States:
"You may drive with a valid U.S. driver’s license if it is accompanied by a notarized translation in French. It is strongly recommended that you carry an International Driving Permit."
Complaining about this is like complaining that you need a passport to enter the EU.

source: being denied by hertz to rent a car, after booking it in advance online.
sorry, not EU, just Greece apparently. still dumb because **** everyone else, and everyone speaks english & everything in greece is written in english. even the stop signs are identical to us ones.
my main issue with it, was 1. it's just a money making scheme, and 2. no one told us about it when booking (2) different cars in greece online.

I drove a Peugeot 108 with the 68bhp 1.0L motor in Naxos. I had to often shift back into 1st gear to just be able to go up a 1° incline. it also had the oddest clutch i've ever driven.

Sometimes you gotta just say "**** it" and build a new editing suite from scratch.
One week ago, this was a storage closet. Did the whole thing for under $800. (Re-used the actual editing workstation itself.)

Many other colors are available at similar prices. This particular shade of blue just happens to almost perfectly match our station's logo.
Tables from Ikea, lamps from Target, Speakers are the exact ones I have at home (Alesis Elevate 5) sitting on the same stands, plus a Mackie BigKnob monitor controller.
