Learned to drive in a vw bug then drove a bmw 2002 for a decade. Quarter vent windows are the bomb.

What engine is that? It looks similar to one that I saw >20 years ago. A friend's Subaru had a coolant hose fail and she drove to my house to see if I could help. Of course by that time car needed a new engine. I was surprised she made it and then left still driving without the engine totally seizing.

Used to be available as a kit, which was mechanical parts only, no electronics. The company doesn't seem to be around anymore, which is... not shocking.
