US Government Inspected, no less.

So now we know that our tax dollars, in some small part, pay the salary of a federal chicken foot inspector.

I just flew over that on my way back to San Juan. I felt the 6.4 magnitude earthquake when I was in Cabo Rojo. I grew up in California and it still scared the crap outta me.

Thank you for taking the fun out of what was intended to be a light-hearted, silly post about chicken feet, and the inspection thereof.

The distance between the U joints doesn't matter. Cardan double universal can have miles between them. MILES.

Tim, i never said the distance was important? My link is strictly referring to vibration. No mention of distance.

Maybe someone can help me identify this weird noise I have coming from my intake after I installed my DIYPNP. The car runs fine but it's making this crazy sound while it's running. In the video I just turned the car over enough to make it happen so you can hear the sound better. It runs with the same sound. Is it my injectors? I tried to listen above the fuel rail but I don't hear it there. It's like it's coming out of my intake tube. Any ideas?

Stock 99 engine, right? Sounds too rapid to be a valve on open. Disconnect the EGR now and see if it changes. Maybe the computer is holding it open.

It sounds like something is loose and hitting. I had a strange noise from my intake after I did my motor mounts. Ended up being a nut that wasn't tightened all the way on the intake.
Your noise sounds like something is vibrating back and forth hitting something else.

I could be way off, but that's what I hear.
