I fear to divert this thread from a discussion of big guns, which I greatly respect and admire from an engineering perspective.


That having been said, I did want to share a little insider tidbit. Specifically, why I love my job. This is the entirety of an email reply which I just sent to the VP of the company, regarding a proposed new configuration for the WGN America network uplink (after a lengthy technical discussion):

That's why I love working at this station.
