I've been driving the company car, on and off now for a years. To save a huge backstory, corporate says that we need to get rental cars for traveling to different facilities. I personally hate the shitbox Kias, VWs, Hyundais, and other junk they put me in. I'd much rather roll this old Ford. The Ford that started when it was -28F when i was working in South Bend. The Ford i cracked 200k in. The Ford that's never let me down. The Ford that i take care of and maintain.
Well, since the new corporate ruling it ended up sitting for over a year. I was having the parking lot re-sealed this spring so i had to get it moved. When i first got it going again it was making a horrible bang from the rear. I figured it was just a shock that had leaked out from sitting, really didn't think much of it. Boy was i wrong.

I've put about 400 miles on it around town running errands for the last 6(ish) months like this. Today after picking up about 400lbs of 6v deep cycle batteries i decided to check into it.

The entire upper control arm bolt was gone. I have no idea how this even happens... From sitting.

The only M12 bolt i had in the plant was titanium, so that's what it got along with a good soaking of red Loctite and a jam nut.

I notice it doesn't say if you should use white or yellow popcorn...

Would love to see that Thanksgiving feast.

This was the first computer I was gaming on. I can’t remember the name of it, but there was one ‘choose your own adventure’ style game that I would always get lost in and never did quite figure out how to beat it.

Not Oregon trail?

I don't have any good pictures. Except this photo representing the very high price price of class 1 scrap copper.
