Also. Already putting this to use.
You can't tell me this isn't standard procedure.

I'm not a fan of too much pressure on stillsons / pipe-wrenches as they can grip tightly & crush or collapse smaller fittings but if it works....

although I've been party to using a gantry-crane to swing a 32ton backup roll into a bearing-chock to shock it from another backup roll

sevral times!

if they didin't shift then got medeval with the 'Lance' & melt them into submission....

theres no kill like overkill

I love that this is occurring in close proximity to a pipe which is clearly labeled "ACID SOAP"

There is nothing about your workplace which doesn't terrify me.

We were doing a construction project one time a few years back. Had a lot of "help" come in for demo.

What they lacked in delicacy they made up for in efficiency.
See those pipes just below there. The ones marked nitric sulfuric acid soap deox ect. Basically all the ruthless **** runs along that chase and we needed to cut and cap that entire chase.

Well somewhere along the line the message of "one at a time" was lost and every single pipe got cut at once.
Trust me when I tell you, you do not want to breath the orange smoke. That was one of the worst chemical reactions I've ever witnessed.

My e-forming department is a pig sty, but it looks pristine compared to your place.

Anodizing / plating by nature is NASTY business.

But truth be told, most of the stuff i post and talk about is all for shock value. My main facility here in Monroe is in fantastic shape and we keep it extremely tidy. We get a lot of maintenance done on schedule, repairs are done promptly, ect. There are constant continuous improvement initiatives in place, painting, cleaning, organizing, 5S, kaizen. It's overwhelming sometimes.

A lot of the nasty horrible **** i post comes from other facilities in our company. Even still, Pioneer ranks in the top 10 finishing shops in the nation every year. We do good. You can't be NADCAP certified if you're a pig sty. We have parts we've finished on Mars, and the ISS right now.

This is a good example. During the height of COVID i wasn't permitted to travel. I had to build (or have built) a waste treatment system (small 10gpm a couple days a week). I had to do this all REMOTELY, coordinate the entire design, engineering, planning, building, startup without ever stepping foot on site. I'm shocked this system even works at all. Had i been on site i would have NEVER allowed this **** to happen. This kind of work is how i end up with so many shocking "look at half this building burnt down" pictures when i have to come to a facility to assess damages and figure out how to get it going again.

I don't need to explain how stupid what you're seeing is. I'll just say that i've seen this room with 6" of water on the floor before.

A part which I created is presently on the air at a small college radio station in Teaneck, New Jersey.

(Not really equivalent, just feeling a tad out-done here...)

Anyway, I'm basically just looking for an excuse to post this photo, which I did not create, of what tuning used to look like back before all this modern digital ECU stuff was invented:

Aww. That mole cartoon is just sad.

Pic unrelated.

There are two people in the vehicle and one is still sipping beer.

Oh look. It's common core^^

I bought all RGB LED lights for my house along with an expensive AP co connect them to the internet. Normally they are normal light colors. But who doesn't love some good rainbow unicorn puke?

It's amazing all the stuff wirelessly connected to the internet these days isn't it? The ubiquity software tells me I have over a dozen clients connected at any given time.
