It was good to see him back, but it was really just a filler video to announce he's back. I expect more meaty vids once he's back in the groove.

An amusing promotional film from 1961, in which Chevrolet attempts to demonstrate that its cars are not horrible:

In late 70s / early 80s Britain, members of different (and ostensibly rival) extremist hate-groups could all get along with one another.

My dad worked on the Milford proving grounds for many years. Boy do i have some stories to tell about that place.

The 60s were out of control. GM was doing some crazy things. Including trying to drive a Corvair through the Panama jungle:

I worked at the Milford Proving Grounds in the late 70's through the early 80's. Those were the best years of my career - I worked in the Noise and Vibration Lab as a fledgling Project Manager and making occasional trips onto the Circle Track while on the way to the Noise Pass-By Site was not unheard of (100 MPH in a Chevy Stepside Pickup on the high bank is fun, right?).

Ah...it brings back memories.

Trying to increase our misery, as always.

But they will never make us be as miserable as whomever winds up winning the auction for this vaguely Lamborghini-shaped pile of scrap metal:

Was that before or after the brake test incident?
After that they were only allowing one person at a time on the high bank.

Obviously not NY, no sober person there would leave his vodka so close to the door.

Also, intrigued by a cat on a leash.

Actually somewhat common in the city. I saw it more in Manhattan, especially on the upper-east side, but yeah, it's a thing. Cityfolk take their cats to parks on a leash.
