I see two things wrong with this pic.
1st. Continental tires
2nd. Sticky tires, and no fender/guard behind the tire. The side of this car will look like **** if its actually ever driven, let alone on a track.

Speaking of Chad, and Paid Vacation (from the ramble thread).

Apparently he quit APR and moved to Hawaii because they told him he couldn't take his approved vacation time at the least minute after he dropped a ton of cash on plane tickets back out to see family over the holidays.

They made a judgement call. It worked out okay. The water didn't seem to have current, there was a level marker, doesn't really seem to be that risky. Clearly driver knew what his vehicle was capable of.
