---- SNOW
last year I had to dig my car out of Dulles long term parking after the double snowmageddon blizzard in DC. I was in San Diego. I didn't pack any gloves or shovels.

then I had to come home and dig a parking space for my car in solid ice. I ended up digging a ramp up onto a hill of icy snow. There was a little ramming involved.

wish I had photos of the fun I had while my wife stayed in warm, sunny california.

Is it bad that I knew what was happening in that video even with the sound muted. I just sensed the Benny Hill. I guess my mind is on the same wavelength as the creators.

Anyone else find it mildly ironic that Google, a huge supporter against SOPA is guilty of censorship? That's why I can't say things like ----, ----, ----------er, -------, ----, and ----.

Found it, i can no longer give money to mt.n now. I don't see ads in the first place on any websites so i wasn't paying for ad removal. Was paying to support a forum of *** hat trolls that made me laugh, but it's hard to lol when you can't say f u c k. If your getting enough cash for ads to remove nsfw and f u c k then you don't need my money.

It really doesn't bother me that much, and in truth it kinda does give the forum a bad look/feel... What does bother me is Google IS censoring who they sponsor, and in reality they've every right to do so because it's their money.. Just a little ironic.

They aren't censoring--we could pull google ads. It's very appropriate that their clients ask not to be shown on ****/adult sites. That's completely reasonable. So the adult content had to be curbed; our choice. The word filter was implemented, because one of the conditions is no sex stories/advice.

So we dunno if saying "Go funk yourself" would be considered advice, thus breeching the terms and having them pull the ads. Not only do they pull ads off the site, thus removing a large revune stream to keep the site/servers running, but they also blacklist you from google serach page ranks, effectively ruining the website.

To make matters worse, there's no one at google to contact, or get advice/answers from. They unleash spiders on your site, and if they find something they don't like poof, you've just been biten by a black widow. Rick has had two sites now that have been black listed from google, the second from a post made in 2008, the first is now a ghost town and the site probably wont be online much longer.

The NSFW section was always pointless, and it's not worth the risk. And it's not out of the question for us to ask you guys keep this site SFW, I think a large majority of us surf here from work...everything else goes. Had the word filter not been turned on, nothing else would have been noticed as a "change"

Some of you are confused that MT.net is anything but a privately run business that keeps Rick off the welfare. If you think Rick makes bad busines decisions or is taking away things that you believe should exist, then you shouldn't pay him money or use his site.

Free speech has never been a guaranteed right here. If you took it for granted and assumed it was, that's not Rick's fault. He's already doing the minimum amount of policing required to generate income to run the site and feed his wife and kid.

I can almost guarantee that if you find a way around word filters or whatever that the Google spiders can't figure out just so you can say "ҒUСК", it'll probably slide.

I think most of us are bitching simply because we didn't really get a good explanation for why it was done. At first, there was not one at all.

When you "PUT IT LIKE THAT" though, it makes perfect sense and I doubt many of us will still be against it. I mean I was already cool with it as soon as Shiuend/Joe (or whoever it was I dont' remember) told me that google actually pays a good chunk of change to Rick to advertise here, and it outweighs our tree-fiddy a month so we don't get priority.

And yeah, browsing 90% of the time from work, I'd rather have a clean browser open than have to look over my shoulder all the time.
