Uhm, okay. I've owned about 40 different cars in the last 15 years. Typically only keep one a couple three years and sell it, have 4 - 5 at any given time.
About 24 hours after that picture was taken the motor blew up.
First motor I've ever had actually come apart catastrophically like this. Car has been sitting ever since because I got tired of messing with it. Almost have another motor ready to throw in along with the rest of my turbo garbage. Finally.

I like it. Most don't like the wheels but that's okay. Spent a great deal of time, money and energy building this thing to auto-x and track days just to have it die before I could ever use it. Oh well, it was my own fault anyway.
There was actually a method to my madness, and the original build pictures Brain made fun of my "pink" block cause my camera sucked then. I like blocks painted black until you've got an oil leak.

Actually I really enjoyed building the motor that blew up. Only managed to put on maybe 30k before it flew apart.. That was a real hard 30k though!
Finished installing the motor on a Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning I left town for Eureka Springs miata week.

If you've never been OC'd be happy. It sucks a$$. There are different levels and for the most part the guys who say it isn't so bad got sprayed with the over the counter crap. OC'd will rock you world at a minimum. That said he ^ still took it like a bitch.
For the guys going to try it. Shower with your eyes closed and down facing later. Not for the raping but that stuff almost never comes of the first rinse. Plus it's fun in open wounds too. Like shaving cuts. Plus side is it cleans your sinuses right the F out.
