Noticed that supra ran something like a 10.xx after the John Force burnout and was like "that's it?" After watching the video again I lol'd when I noticed he got on the brakes for some reason when the 2k nearly lost control.. Not really sure why, he was WAY ahead of the 2k at that point. *Shrug*

 

He might have been spinning up top. That car usually runs in the 7's. Could have just been his reaction to the S2K going hungy hungy hippos on the track.

S2K wheelbase is 94.5" and the miata is 89.2"....interesting.

That's about what I was expecting, however he probably nearly ---- himself when he saw the 2k. I would have. Def lol'd at your reference.

Depends on how you define "fastest", and whether or not you conceder a Hennessy Venom GT a Lotus.
I'd say acceleration is a tossup, top speed goes to the Venom GT, and obviously throw in some corners and the compound charged Lotus would be quicker. Personally while I like both of them I prefer the compound charged Lotus.

 

Also, if you build your own compound-charged Lotus, you can avoid dealing with a guy that might steal your Viper hood!
