Random Rant:

Ordered a Delrin shift bushing from Miataroadster.com for my Six-speed back on the 12th. This is what arrived today:


Return to their website and login, it shows I ordered a Delrin Shift bushing, part number MR-SS-12 at a price of $15.00. The email conformation of my order reflects the same thing, yet the invoice and part I have in hand show I paid $35.00 for a shifter extension??? The website, email, and paper invoice all have the same invoice and PO.

 

Some clubricer is wondering what the plastic ring he got is for.

 

MiataRoadster used to be cool, now I think they quite suck. The website now looks like a generic car parts site, not the old Miata specific parts only.

Is it just me, or does that thing seem like it only idles on cylinders 2 and 3?

 

At times, it seemed like it was idling on just one cylinder.

Makes sense, though. If you've got a flywheel that weighs more than Pusha's ego, you don't exactly need a power cycle every 180 degrees.
