Well, If you use crusty walmart pistols yes. But if you got shot by my M4 or x808's sniper, you would feel it, and that sniper would draw blood close range. Yeah, the pistols aren't that strong, you just raise your gun when you get shot, like paintball. But if you lie you will get owned. The last guy that lied about me ended up getting snuck up on, and blasted in the back/neck/back of the head with a half of a mag of bb's (about 150 in my gun) from about 20 feet away at 450 fps with .28g bb's. He didn't go to the club that night.

Hit 3 times, got within 50ft shot at his face and busted one of his front teeth.
Didn't do it on purpose, the tooth part at least.

I had my friend point blank me in the *** with my sniper just so I would know how much damage it could do 1st hand.
I don't engage people under 100ft unless they're asking for it.

 

I also play when I get a chance here in Corpus. We play at an abandoned grain refinery thats pretty creepy or a 5 acre wooded lot. Normally its 2 teams, one inside the complex and one coming in from the road. Last team standing wins. You get shot you raise your hands and walk back to a safe zone. My m4 has drawn blood. Cheaters get high fps shots to bare skin...

I've always wanted to find a paintball scenario like that- a raid on a fortified complex from without.

They've got something sort of like this at Pendleton, where there's a little "village" made of a large number of sheds down in a ravine, but it's not really a single, occupied structure, and the tiny little sheds mean that pretty much every hit is a point-blank hit.

 

The close quarters combat aspect of the old grain silo makes the games pretty realistic which is fun. Here is a vid of the site. Not my buddies or my vid so hit mute or get a headache...

Had an m4 and farted around with it. Was about to attend a sim when I got really sick and that was kind of the beginning to the end of doing it. 40 feet away it still went into drywall and it did hurt. The bro n law and i shot each other from 6 feet away. I got to shoot him first and it went through his pants and drew some blood. Kinda funny watching him run around yelping like a girl. lol.. i am laughing now remember how he asked me to stand in the hallway so he could shoot me, i felt like such a lil girl.

Airsoft guns are considered gray area. You can be charged here in Canada with possessing a replica firearm.

 

Airsoft? When I was a kid we used BB guns and took it like men.

Actually we took strips of duct tape and laid it out on the table sticky side up and overlapped the edge of pennies. Sealed off the top with more strips of duct tape then limited pump action guns to 3 pumps only. Jesus if we would've known the implications of what we built 20 years ago......

 

I used to be serious into airsoft in high-school/early college. Haven't played in years, but I really want to. I just need a group to motivate me to go out. I still have all my stuff and a shelf full of upgrades for 3-4 guns.
