I'm about to get a new apartment, but money is going to be tight. I think $355 after food and all bills including fuel and 1 monthly track day is not enough.
The $605 student loan payment sucks...it also sucks that I'll probably get shipped out again for work in a few months, and all that rent will go into a black hole...by my roommates suck at life, and need to get out of that ****.

you are wrong. You will not find an interest rate from private loans less than 9%, and I'm already on a 20-year term. No company will offer a better rate because they don't have to. I'm stuck. I've tried and tried, over and over. It will not get better on student loans.

I keep expecting a thread along the lines of:
"So I got drunk at this party the other night, and sucked my friend off. Do you think that makes me gay?"
Seriously, how old are you? You've been on your own for quite a while right? Look back over the last year and build youself a budget based on that. Simple stuff. You have X amount coming in, Y amount going out ... it'll sort itself out.
