I've got to say, I never thought you could ruin American Gladiators. Somehow they managed to do just that. I swear the show was like 75% talking and stupid contestant interviews.

I read that the militia dude is an ex-gay **** star on IGN.com. I can't really understand these interviews.. do the people practice being so tacky?

Seriously.. I dont think I can have kids after watching this show. Apparently having kids makes you spew homo bullshit about how your kid motivates you on national TV.

Yes the talking sucked and it was generally corny as hell but the eliminator for the first women contestants was hilarious. The black chick just lying on the ramp, given up. Both of them falling face first into everything. That was worth it for me.

 

im watching it. I don't think it's all that different from the old-school version other than more commercials and more talking.

was looking forward to seeing the ex-marine chick on the pugel sticks

was i the only one who laughed out loud when she jumped head first into that metal fire torch structure?

she still almost caught up and won, even after taking a good while to shake the cobwebs out and with blood dripping down her face

 

You know for a marine.. I would think she would have not spent about 20 minutes on the cargo net, blood or no blood

Seriously.. you wanna see some real ****, watch Ninja Warrior. Those guys put american gladiators to shame.

 

I thought it was ok, then again, I only barely remember the original since i was in elementary school at the time. Ninja warrior is way better, true.
