Default Anyone on here create their own ringtones?

OK, I've been wanting to do this for awhile and figured I'd give it s shot tonight. But I suck at this stuff and have no clue what I'm doing. So i was wondering if there is anyone on here who has messed with this stuff that can help or maybe even take a few songs for me, cut them down and send them to me.

Anyone?

BTW, phone is a Razor V3xx

^ Yep.

you will need to edit your sound clip ALOT, phone ring tones don't take much space as they are really small files.

Basically. Find a site that will let you host your ring tone. Few years ago I found one that would do three for free, after that you had to pay. More recently i tried to do a ring tone, and it seems alot of those sites have dried up.

They will tell you how big, and how long the file can be, also what format it needs to be in.

Upload your file to them. They will / can text you the data to your phone.

Im sure if you have computer plug to your phone capability, you could do a direct file download, Just have to find out the file requirements for your phone.

Goodluck

Get Motorola phone tools. Create MP3. Upload MP3 to phone with MPT. Enjoy.

To me, a phone is a damn phone.. I don't need all that damn fancy bullshit. I just dumped my 1 year old Samsung A737. The V3 has a memory card slow and I have a 2GB memory stick for it. I don't care for all these new phones out there. ****, if I could have a Nokia 5160, I would. I don't care to be one of those who flashes their phone as some kinda status symbol, I know too many people that always have the "newest and best" crap...and they spend more money buying and trading phones.... yuck. BTW, having some "normal" phone with damn data plan keeps my bill at $10/month.

Sweet... now everyone looks at me like I'm nuts..between the Geico (ringity ding ding dong" from the commercial) and Burntpianos "Spank Rock" remix.....and many more to come.

I can also have fun ripping things from YT...movie quotes and ****, and put them on my phone. I think for texting I'm going to use the whole "Shenanigans" conversation from Super Troopers"

I used Motorola Phone Tools when I had my razr. Worked great! Just switched to an iPhone and I haven't tried that yet. I won't be paying $.99 to convert anything in iTunes, but I hear it's not very hard.
