I recently bought a case of this stuff, and it's delicious and satisfying. Victory HopDevil.
I also bought this Variety Pack...
Avery.

It contains White Rascal, IPA, Ellie's Brown Ale, and Joe's Pale Ale.
Joe's Pale Ale is a pilsner, I'm not a pilsner fan, but this is pretty good.
Ellie's Brown Ale is AMAZING. It tastes almost like a Chocolate Stout.
The IPA is decent.
The White Rascal might be my favorite Belgian...I'm torn between that and Troeg's Dreamweaver.
Burnside Brewery has an Oatmeal Pale. I liked it so much I now have a 5gallon keg of it in my beer fridge. It's a fairly big malty hoppy pale, with the smooth creaminess that oats provides.
Yum!
ZXTex - if you make it back up here sometime we must do a pub crawl. There are 20 smaller breweries like Double Mountain just waiting for me to visit them ... hell there's 5 in my neighborhood. Needz moar drinkin buddies!

also enjoy the avery white... we took it tubing last summer. cans FTW.
Beer has taken quite a bit of my time lately so I thought I would share what I had last night. Enjoyed two new ones from COAST out of Charleston, SC. Their Simcoe Pale and Another Wheat. The Simcoe Pale was definitely stellar and did a lot to show off the simcoe hop while the Another Wheat was a fairly refreshing brew, but definitely lacked complexity. Can't win them all I suppose. :/

I have a problem...not sure what you call it. Sometimes I can drink 3 beers and feel f'd up, sometimes (like right now/ tonight) I can drink 13 Yuengling Lagers and not feel a tad bit buzzed. Example...Yesterday I drank 3 Victory Summer Love Ale's with my lunch. I was semi tuned up. Tonight, I drank too much, but I'm bored and sober.
I got sick of the fact that I just drank over 1/2 a case of beer tonight and am still sober, so I am switching it up to Victory Golden Monkey.
I bought a bomber of it yesterday and an 1/2 way through it...still nothing. At 9.5% ABV, you'd think it would punch me in the face, but nope.
I guess this is one of those nights. I'm sure I'll wake up tomorrow though and be like "what the F was I thinking last night, I am TORE UP."
Oh well, F it.
As far as Victory goes, it's just another Pennsylania beer that I enjoy. Sly Fox? not a big fan...Victory? Hell yes! Weyerbacher? F*ck yeah! Troegs? Hell yeah!

This guy's taste note cracks me up.
Is he Hawaiian? Is he a sumo wrestler?
WTF?
Doesn't matter...he's a beer snob, and so am I.
If you go to the same bar as me and I'm drinking Russian River Pliny the Elder, and you ask for a coors light, I want to break your legs.
I have had four tasty beers so far, while eating pineapple sausage dogs..
the list so far:
Lagunitas Imperial Red Ale- pretty damn good, im not a hops guy but this is pretty good.
Petrus Blond Ale- damn tasty
Petrus Gouden Tripel Ale
and finished off with a nice Sierra Nevada Kellerweis
Time for games.

Just split a case of southern tier harvest ale with a buddy. Its brewed with 2 dufferent malts and 4 different hops. I cant even explain how good that stuff is. Southern tier makes amazing beer. If you like pumpkin ales, you haven't had a good pumpkin ale until you try southern tier pumpking...that is the god of pumpkin ales. I had the pleasure of having it on draft last year after it was aged in an oak barrel. "Holy mother of god" is the only thing that came to mind while sipping it.
Drinking these plus a few ciders.

The wife did a presentation on German beer and our experiences at Oktoberfest for a few years. She found these for her presentation. We're drinking the left overs.

I split a dogfish head punkin with the wife last night. i'm not a big fan of pumpkin beers but it was pretty good. light on the pumpkin, decent beer-y flavor.
she only wanted half because baby is on the boob.
