Did yall hear about the superbowl beer bet that Flying Dog and Anchor have?

Whoever loses (SF or Baltimore), the losing brewery has to pour the winner's beer in their taproom for a week.

Kinda looking forward to having some Anchor Steam poured in nearby Frederick, MD!

Yes, if the Ravens lose I'll have to take a trip down to Frederick and enjoy.

I finally cracked into one of my Christmas presents last night

thirdgen 02-01-2013 09:05 PM

old school 02-01-2013 09:23 PM

I'm not certain. I didn't ask. Found there new tasting room ten minutes ago may go back after dinner. Found some rare old Audi quatro gt that I'm going to show to a buddy right now

I'm drinking a case of stoudts octoberfest I bought for $15 cause of bearing expiration. It tastes like its turning, but it'll get me there tonight...and for cheap.

RedCarmel 02-02-2013 09:14 PM

I'm buzzing on Southern Tier Mokah. Wonderfully creamy, dark, with wonderful tastes and smells of bittersweet chocolate and coffee. I even busted out my Belgian glasses for this brew. Absolutely worth a shot if you like this kind of stout.

thirdgen 02-02-2013 09:25 PM

What kind of scumbag asshole recommended southern tier products to you?

RedCarmel 02-02-2013 10:06 PM

All I know is a trail of light blue smoke follows his miata around. At the least it keeps the mosquitoes away.

thirdgen 02-02-2013 10:14 PM

LOL!!!!
I owe you a beer for that one!

thirdgen 02-02-2013 10:17 PM

I'm so glad I didn't waste my Anderson Valley Winter Solstice tonight, but instead, used up a pile of slightly vinegary tasting soon to expire octoberfests that I got for $15. That's how you properly manage beer finances. I also traded 3 of them for 1 bottle of Weyerbacker Double Simcoe, and 1 bottle of Weyerbacker Old Heathen Stout. I think I made out on the profit side with this shitty case.

Anybody who wastes their money on this crap is a disgrace to beer lovers everywhere.

thirdgen 02-15-2013 01:06 AM

Right now it's bells expedition stout, followed by a shot of midnight moon.

old school 02-17-2013 01:08 AM

21st amendment bitter American hoppy pale ale. Very nice and refreshing on co2.
North coast out of fort brag cal old rasputin Russian Imperial Stout on nitro. Thick creamy rich a real great beer.

Leafy 02-17-2013 01:14 AM
