If you don't know what Ethanol is...basically it's a low rent version of gasoline made from corn...higher octane (IIRC) but less MPG. E-85, which should be available at your local gas station, could be used with the addition of this magically box to your engine.

what a crock of ****. What kind of inbreed pile of **** thinks you can just dump e85 into any car just because you put some shitbox fuel controller on it? I say we all mass email this ****** and call out his scam.

I'm sorry, but when the owners manual CLEARLY says what type of fuel is to be used in the car and you BLATANTLY ignore that, than you're **** out of luck when your car gets fuckerd up....and they'll laugh as soon as you utter "Mag..."

If your car was built in the old days, it was had a lead coated, steel tank. The water in ethanol would cause the tank to rust from the inside out. The government mandated that all gas in the USA contain 10% ethanol to help reduce tail pipe emissions. In the 1980s, automakers made vehicles with fuel systems to be ethanol and rust tolerant. Gas tanks began to contain polymers and Teflon which are extremely durable.

The real issues are condensation caused in the fuel tank corroding and rusting portions of the fuel "line". Apart from that...any motor put together with a paper based gasket compared to copper or rubber lining will corrode. Oh, and we shouldn't forget manipulating the fuel injector load and spark to the motor as well. ALOT would need to change.
That being said - I ran straight ethanol in my 1990 Ford Ranger for over 75,000 miles (got it for free...truck and ethanol). Only problem I had was starting the truck...had to rig up a small gas tank that would spray a shot into the intake when I turned the key.
