Default California Reg/Tax Increase?

Just got my registration bill today. What is normally $80-$90 is now $230!!

Is this the work of Jerry Brown?

I'm disgusted.

It's "to fix the roads". Never mind that that's what the gas tax is supposed to be for, but gets put into the slush fund instead, such as to fund bloated gov't pensions.

Maybe I managed to miss all the bad California roads when I drove from SE NM to Monterey for Miatas @ MRLS, but it was never half as bad as NM roads get. NM will never have money to fix roads, period.

Do you honestly think the CA gov't is spending tax revenue wisely?

I was warned for making this topic on another Miata forum, my apologies if I broke any rules here.

Your question belies a fundamental political belief system which I fundamentally disagree with. We have discussed in the past, it never went anywhere beneficial, let's not discuss further

You're totally fine.
Don't go to that abortion of a site ever again and we'll forgive you.

Now he's talking about abortion. This is heading straight to the political section, lol.
