It's pretty old, was in discovery futurecar a while back.
But I think the idea has a lot of potential, easily renewable, easily compressed into small spaces, lots of room to expand the idea into other platforms. I just hope they figure out a way to make them fast! But this totally rapes electric cars for practicality, as you can actually refill them/drive long distances and fill up on the way.

The idea of a compressed air powered car has been kicked aroung a long time, probably as long as gasoline engines. Biggest problem is energy density - even if you compress the air to the point it liquifies, you'll have a hard time carrying enough to get you much of any range.

they would come out with cars that run on water but the government wouldn't let them because then there would be no point of gas stations, all bull **** and they would lose all this money blah blah...stupid people.
Get a job in the oil industry and you'll realize how totally full of **** that conspiracy theory is.
I still don't understand the taxes we pay to own a car. Gas taxes are supposed to go to roadways right? In Fl. atleast. (But I thought we had tourism and toll roads to take care of some of that.) And then theres registration you have to pay yearly for? Why does the vehicle have to be registered every year? Isnt that taken care of when you buy a car? Along with sales tax. In some states your registration is more expensive based on the cost of your car. In florida its based on the weight. The problem I have with paying all these taxes is that I have been in tampa for 4 years, and the roads are still shitty. The same places that are shitty never get fixed, and when the construction crews work on them. they **** up the traffic for 4 months at a time, leave, and then when i drive on it its still fucked up.
Road taxes are bullshit. In Fl atleast. I still pay them though because I like driving.
