I don't think Apple has ever gone after anyone in a legal way for unlocking or running a jailbreak on their phones. This ruling is pointless and doesn't mean ****.

But now that it's making the press all the drooling masses are going to start jailbreaking their phones, then Apple will have to take notice and come up with a technical solution. Somethings should remain on the fringe.
