So I have to respect someone who's attacking me via ad hominem because of his age and registration date on an internet message board? If anything, as an older member and supposedly a more mature person, he should be setting an example for newer members and younger people to follow.

That age thread has done exactly what I suspected it would. Of course I saw that coming because of my 27 years of wisdom gathering on this Earth you infants.

In short, yes.

BTW, as an older and more mature person, if you review all his posts, you'll notice he sets a great example by NOT say *** and gay regarding Miatas, Meets, and fellow Miata owners.

Also, if you took me seriously (like I took Hustler the first few months), then here's where I tell you I was jokingly busting your fuzzy little *****.

Sparetire - shut it, n00b.

I thought tongue-in-cheek gay humor was a staple of this forum. My mistake.

So you're the 22 year old resident LSX expert? Just because your parents have a couple 'vettes in the garage with minor bolt-ons does not make you one. Dry sump and lighter chassis make no difference on the street. You'll only discern those difference in testing on a tarmac or in an all out race setting.
Don't knock on age

As far as track C5's go, you can't beat a 1999 FRC with Bilstiens, Pfadt bars, a set of Z06 rims with 275's up front and 315's in the back. They are just a PITA to work on, track maintenance is expensive, and insurance was enough to make me cry every 6 months..... Which is why I ended up in the Miata camp.

IDK about the NB's, but the NA's suck as far as driver comfort. That is the only place the C5 won HANDS DOWN (besides getting the ladies wet of course)

I was steam rolling 335's on my LT1 in auto-x on 17x11's.

Get your 315 staggered weaksauce outta here.

I want a C5. Buddy of mine in Cleveland has the advantage of being a computer network admin (or something) and still living at home. He daily drives a Saturn SL1... lol.... and weekend's his '03 Z06 w/ cam/exhaust/150 shot.

I fookin hate him.

Then again, I have a house and a hot tub.... so, whose having more fun?

A lot can be said for the OEM 2004 Z06 shocks. As far as wheels go, OEM 18 x 10.5s all around is the way to go.
