Lol. I got it all on the dash cam when it happened so she didn't have much recourse. Taking the lexus in next week to get fixed, but I'm starting to toy with the idea of picking up something else. Test drove a 2016 GS350 Fsport yesterday and very much liked it. Thinking that might be my next move in the coming weeks.

Bought this turd off a coworker for 1200$. interior is like new and rides smooth. Rot in the rear sill like they all get. I'm seriously contemplating dropping it and doing fender flares just for the absurdity of it. Also a practice in all kinds of fabrication before I try anything with the miata.

What the hell is it? Some kind of euro CRV? It almost looks like it could be based off the CRV, but i can't find a single body line that matches.

I've got a 95 CRV 5 speed AWD, it's a great cheap car.

Honda HRV by the looks.

I always assumed that these would have been super popular in the US, since the concept sounds like a lot of other popular US cars (weird middle sized SUV with no offroad capability at all)

I know they got to be super cheap in australia, since nobody really liked them
They because a really convenient source of H22 engines for kids doing swaps into Civics and Integras

Yeah, we never got those. Never seen one in my life. I think it's neat though.

Honda HRV is currently offered in the US, based on the Honda Fit. Not sure if that's some older generation version though. Looks larger than the current one by quite a bit.

It's a HR-V but It's gota a d16 engine and a weird CVT tranny.

I've found parts cars with v-tec and manual tranny for 2-300$ it would be a fun side project once the miata is 100% running.

I mean. crazier things have been done

I can't blame you. Properly functioning A/C is a must south of the Mason-Dixon line.......and you are very far south.

Yeah. It's more or less held on fine throughout the summer months, but once in a while it acts up (sticky AC servo motor). I just don't want to sink more money into it after the accident however. The IS200t deal fell through but a pristine 1 owner LS430 popped up for sale nearby at a good price. Going down there tomorrow morning with cash to make it happen and have a buyer for the IS today.
