some times grades are based on more than just product and content. I just started teaching this year and work with First year and 2nd year english learners. Grades are just numbers, sometimes growth is what is being looked for

my college gpa was a 2.89 which was mostly fucked up from my first year where i didn't care. If you omit my first year i probably would be somewhere 3.3-3.5 i could have a been a 4.0 student easy, i just didn't think it was worth putting all the extra time into it since i probably put less work into school than just about everyone else i graduated with. Luckily for me i just test very well which meant i really never studied, mind you i didn't end up with a 4.0 but i just didn't think all the extra work was worth it since i had other things to do like work to pay my way though school and hang out with friends.

Psychology profs just seem nutso. trust me. And sometimes teacher who are bored can become fairly petty esp if they feel you are getting to bug for your britches and use a lower grade to show you that you aint ****.

I had that "college" thing once, but then i got a lot of rest and drank a lot of fluids.....and it got better!

Seriously though, I attained a Bachelors with a 3.76 GPA in Business Administration....

And I'm a computer technician for a living. Hey, can't complain. I love what I do, and I never have to touch a business calculator again.

not every one can use sensu beans to recoup while studying or go SSj2 on the midterm. the blonde hair trick would be nice though.

I can't imagine getting a C-, I would have been pissed if I had done the work and gotten the shaft on something completely subjective... Hell I even used the words "carpet muncher" and "pole smoker" in a term paper and still got an A on it.

B.A. Psychology (Honors), Summa *** Laude 4.00 GPA, 1300 GRE.... And you know what, I still didn't get into a grad school program! Talk about being disillusioned!

ON a recent paper we used the word sasquatch to describe the jackshafts that we will use to vary our gear ratio. We did this to prove that the professors and client didnt read it... Needless to say we were right.

Unfortunately OSU is much more interested in adding to our already large stadium so there can be more empty seats when its done. There is barely any funding in the engineering dept's, and my manufacturing teacher isn't worth 2 cents. We have 1 small HAAS cnc mill and he only lets you use it if you go through all his boring classes. It irritates me daily. I just need to go buy a CNC, damn them for being so expensive.

I interviewed there last year.... the stadium is most impressive, the campus itself though could use a bit more expansion... the psychology dept still had some neat toys none the less.
