Will it never end? From the NWS...

AS OF AUGUST 23RD...2009 THE NUMBER OF 100 DEGREE DAYS FOR THIS
YEAR WAS AS FOLLOWS...63 AT AUSTIN MABRY...51 AT AUSTIN BERGSTROM
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...61 AT DEL RIO...54 AT SAN ANTONIO
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...AND 65 AT SAN ANTONIO STINSON FIELD.

Might as well make that 66 since it will go over 100 again today. Still way behind on the rainfall too

Saturday and Sunday here were very nice, not typical at all. 70's and low humidity, but now its back to the typical late summer mid and upper 90's with high humidity. Just one more month! Maybe then we will get back at least into the 80's and with lower humidity. I can handle the heat, its the humidity that kills me.

I don't think we have even had a single record temp day this summer but it has been terribly uncomfortable. The temps have been average but the heat indexes have been through the roof. Yesterday the temps were only 86-88 but the heat index hit over 100. Give me a nice hot dry day please!!!
