pretty well, I lost major power since my EBC didn't like the dyno, it would hit 9, drop to 6 and hit 9 again (look at the flat spot on the torque curve!). I made 185tq on one run but the boost dropped to 2 so i didn't make a good run. EBC worked great on the street, but overall I'm happy! I'll get it back to another dyno soona nd get better results. a/f is perfect!

a/f looks really good. That's strange that your boost controller dropped your boost to 6 and then back to 9. I like how on the last three runs you made more peak torque than hp.

Car seems to be coming together well. Good job!!!

I'm tesing an Electric Boost Controller, so it wouldn't bleed boost correctly on the dyno dunno. on the street it was perfect. I tried playing with the duty cycles, but that was about the best I could do it.

If it held at 9 this is what I would assume it to plot:

This is about where I estimated its power. My AFR makes me really happy, all that math and talking with Corky paid off. Now I can't wait to tune it up with the BEGi, I was running the vortech on these pulls.

Sweet!

Looks like an awesome time. Lots of bad-*** cars there too..

The revised plot would be perfect, lots of area under that curve, so that's what it's like off the dyno huh? Wow.

Tune looks pretty freakin good. Nice work.

He sure did! Can't wait till you guys post your pics and plots! Brad got a CEL on the way home and his car is stumbling now, I think he killed his pump.

So what were the results?

Brad - 120hp @ 5psi problems fueling :(
Bruce - 200hp(13psi at 6475rpm) 208 Torque(17.1psi@4380rpm)
Tim - 210hp @ 10psi
Tom - 243hp @ 15psi
Phil - 160hp @ 6psi
Me- 180-200hp or so @ 9psi
Correct?

IIRC the actual max numbers were:

Brad (newbsauce)- 122hp @ 5psi problems fueling :(
Bruce (olderguy) - 200hp(13psi at 6475rpm) 208 Torque(17.1psi@4380rpm)
Tim (turbotim)- 210hp @ 10psi
Tom (brgracer)- 243hp @ 15psi
Phil (mach929)- 150hp @ 6psi
Scott (braineack)- 177hp @ 9psi

For a grand total of 1102hp
I'm sure once Brad's fuel filter/pump are done, he'll be right up there as well.

It's ThermoTec material, thin aluminum that has a bunch of slits punched into it. It works great. I can put my hand behind the heat shield which is a few inches away from the turbos and not feel any heat, but my face which is about 3 feet away would get toasted from the radiant heat.

Even though I was extremely nervous putting my car on the dyno, I had an awesome time. For whatever reason the car makes 3psi less on the dyno than on the road. Nice video, that was my first run at 9psi @ 201hp.

I think Bruce and I are going to seriously consider larger intercoolers after seeing Tom's results!

With my torque being higher than my HP, I went back looking at the Zeitronix log I ran at the same time. Looks like I hit that torque number just before my wastegate started being blown open. My boost went down hill to a very ragged 13 where I hit the HP number, oscillating all the time as low as 9.

BRGracer (Tom) suggested I put a helper spring on which I just finished. I'll run a street log tomorrow to see if it changed anything.

I edited the above post to show where and what.

did you notice the AFR sniffer was about a full point off? My plot shows a flat 13:1 AFR, but my log shows a flat 12 AFR as posted above.

Don't you hate when your wastegate opens early?

The day was tons of fun, and it was great seeing everyone's setups. Can't wait to do it again!
