You are suggesting that the individual has no rights, that his life and work belong to the group. The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights, cannot claim to be defenders of minorities.

Well just so you know: As the democrat party controls our public school system, the courses taught are favorable to socialism. American “scholars” are not taught that socialism is a cancer, which will eat away the core of a capitalist nation by simply removing any desire of the citizens to advance their station in life. It squashes all ambition to live better, to make more money, to manufacture better goods, to offer better services, to do/say/produce anything in which one could exhibit pride either in themselves or their country.

That simply isn't true. School teaches one to be proud of their country (at least through high school), their state, their county, their city, their sports team... but never themselves. Be proud of yourself for what group you're in, who you are doesn't matter is a core of public school.

And so we're making the world safe for democracy, rather than a republic who stays out of it. USA.

I loved how for my Mechanical Engineering degree I was REQUIRED to take this course in Sociology where I had to read this crazy mind-washing totalitarianism propaganda book called Ishmael.

That is American education with regards to political ideology atm.

 

I'm not sure this has been true for a while now. Even elementary school children are learning to be ashamed of the United States -- an historical emphasis on injustices perpetrated against the Native Americans, chattel slavery, child labor, bigotry against immigrants, the civil rights movement, Vietnam, and so on. It's considered to be in poor taste to discuss the superiority of the United States or the massive wealth it has brought to the rest of the world.
