That's about what I pay for 4 bikes in GA
2 x cruisers 1100 twins
1 x cruiser 750 v-4
1 x sportbike 750 that puts about the same amount of power to the tire as the miata

Full coverage on the cruisers, liability and comp but no collision on the sportbike (they don't cover accidents at the track anyway). $500 deductibles. Through progressive directly.

<edit> I looked at my statement. It's ~$440/year.

At least you have the option, to go without KY has mandatory insurance to drive. Wich helps drive up the rates.

:gay: insurance is mandatory hear.the thing is its 1 of the 5 boroughs(nyc)but its more spread out.so you need a car definatly to get around and they can charge what ever they want and people have to pay.

there was a write up in the paper saying the staten islander man was getting rippped off.worste rates in new york so probally the worste in the country.

Oh ok i thought you meant thta you did not have insurance and where driving around in the car. If you have liability insurance then you have insurance in my book as everything else is just extra.( And for my money a waste if it is gone it is gone you shouldnt have played with it so hard, if someone else broke it they need to fix it is my feeling on it.)

I pay about $50/mo (Canadian) per month for full coverage on my Miata. 35 no tickets or claims in a long time.

I only insure my Miata 6-8 months out of the year.

Ha. Yep.

Horray for marriage! I'm now at $292 per month down from $367 for:

100/300/50 liability on everything
$1500 deductible on Collision & Comp. for the Cooper S and Millenia
glass replacement
Just liability on the Miata and Impreza

Millenia and Impreza are daily drivers (driven 50+ miles one way to work 5 days a week)
Cooper is garaged

21st century.
31 yrs old

full coverage, zero deductible on the miata for comprehensive (500 collision)
and no matter how many lesser cars I own, it's still 600 every 6 months. actually I think it was like 575 with the E30 and miata. about the same with the E30, miata, and minivan. just me on the policy.

but

i have to switch because they dont exist out here in Dee Cee.

suggestions?
