got my first ride in an evo
I love Evos, well not the 10. I will agree that I am a little bias, due to the fact I still miss my 2g DSM. I plan to get an Evo 8 or 9 in the next few years as a DD and turn the miata into a weekend /track car.
As for the Sti, I will still admit that the Sti sound hella better then the Evo, when WOT.
My view on the EVO is it is an amazing all around car. With some nice Coilover it will out handle most cars on the track the AWD helps, and with basic BPU mods, it will out run most cars. It has it weak points, just like the DSMs with the front weight bais, but the EVO doesn't seem to have the understeer issue as much. The tranny issues are fixed compared to the DSM.
I just enough the fact that its 4 door car that I can have fun in.

Heh, my friend down in Florida just ran an 11.38 in his IX and called to tell me about it.
I drove it when it ran just 11.66, it was a beast then too..
