Default The great AK/AR debate put to rest...

From another forum. Having fired all three and owned 2 of them, I can say it's fairly accurate as well.

AK vs. AR vs. Mosin

Good one. Out of those three, I've only owned ARs but have shot them all.

I've sporterized a VZ-24 (Czech Mauser M98), it shoots pretty good.

There. Now quit crying because the AR15/M16 has to be cleaned. Problem solved.

A humorous debate...I have an AR and I love it, but it's like comparing the mustang to the camaro.

More like a 370Z and a Camaro as near as I can tell.

I fell asleep about 1:30 into the video. Can...that...guy...be...more...monotone?

I shot a friend's Mosin Nagant (he collects vintage firearms). For those of you who haven't shot it - it does kick like a mule but NOTHING like his M1.

Mosin Nagant for $80 (plus shipping):

I'd buy one if it shot the same rounds as my SKS.

That vid is so full of crap I don't know where to begin. I work at a company that is the leader in micro-replication. We plate (both electroplate and electroless) structures to tolerances (nanometers) no one else in the world can match. For example, we use lasers to write a specific structure into a gold coating, and then replicate that for making films with very specific function. If you have a laptop, mp3 player, flatscreen monitor/TV or cellphone, chances are, we made the films for the screen.

He has some of the correct terms in there, but his explanations of them are some fantasy BS. Probably his misunderstanding of someone who knows the basics, but didn't explain them very well.

I think you have to get to level 60 or 70 in Modern Warfare 2 to get the AK; That's definitive right!
