yeah, I do actually...and you're going to get skull-fucked. R32's would be great for daily drivers if they were remotely reliable. The sound is really the only cool part about those cars.
I always thought this car sounded cool even better in person:
It reminds me of my old 2.9t which actually sounded nastier.
then there's this gem:

I've been infatuated with R's for a long *** time and have not come across to many complaints about reliability....the 08's have a fuel leak issue, but other than that, these cars have proved the vw sterotype wrong....

well I was immersed in VW for a long time and firmly believe that anyone who buys one is a ******* retard. However, if that car were reliable, I'd certainly have one for a daily. There is no road car on the planet that has an equivalent ride quality or interior to a vw/audi. They are just shamefully unreliable and historically done everything they can to avoid taking responsibility for heinous reliability problems.
The exhaust / interior quality -SEATS! / and ride quality are what have me liking this over the STI as my dd.... plus the sleeperish looks
Take a stroll over to the tex' (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=145), theres hundreds of R enthusiast approaching or exceeding the 100k mark with stock everything and no issues....and you can still find examples of the 04 model with 20-40K on the clock....I'd say that'd be good for a few years of use...
Don't playa hate, congratulate.....

My friend's cousin (also my friend) just brought a used 04 R32 in silver. Love the seats and the sound of the VR6, that's about it. Not exactly as fast as it sounds because I had no trouble pulling on him in the stock G35 and the AWD system isn't exactly "advanced" to say the least.
Would I rock one as a daily if I was given an amazing offer? Of course, but then i'd sell it. There are too many options out there to choose over the R32.
Food for thought:
"Reliability - This has been a touchy subject for Volkswagen over the past few years, as the fourth-generation Golf, Jetta, and GTI all received notably poor scores in consumer reliability surveys. It’s possible, however, that R32 buyers have less to worry about. Unlike its lesser stablemates, the R32 was built in Germany and imported to the States, so it may not suffer as many quality glitches as its siblings."

Like I said, performance-wise, there is definitly better performers in every catagory....If I get the R, I plan on throwing on a vf stage 2 supercharger and calling it a day. That kit is good for 350bhp and 350tq. That'll be enough to keep me entertained on the drive in to work, and should allow me to blow off some steam after a long day.......
This being said, I really love the STI, I just can't get over that interior. If I got that, I'd have to swap out the interior for sure....but there is still no way to shake the reputation that car has (For better or for worse)....all the ricers that'd wanna race, the attention it'd get with the law enforcement, crazy insurance, etc....

A reason for North American Jetta/Golf/GTi's poor reliability is probably because they're assembled in VW's plant located in Puebla, Mexico. The plant in Mexico is notorious for low quality control. According to VW, they have recently improved their quality control in all manufacturing plants.

Thats funny, the only .:R related tranny issue I have heard of came from a kid who has a twin turbo HPA kit installed, making uuuumm close to 600awhp. Even then, gears 1-4 still worked allowing him to drive the car until he got a new tranny dropped in. Better than that is that the 600awhp is on a stock motor and went through the stock differentials with just a haldex controller. Try doing that with some other cars....I think that says alot about the build quality on the R. BTW what do you have or want for a dd hus? (just curious, not tryin to be a *****)

9 vw's came through my family in like 8 years. After you send enough in for service incessantly, deal with bullshit they refuse to warranty, and get stranded enough you stop giving them chances. Have fun and good luck, you're going to need it.

My ex has an '08 rabbit, looking at consumer reports VW had black marks all the way up until '08, where suddenly they had all red marks (which is good for those of you not in the know). I'm a little suspicious since it's a brand new car, so we'll see how it holds up in terms of reliability, although I don't talk to her anymore (hence the "ex").
I'm a strong believer in everything Japanese when it comes to cars. Have you looked at the new Ralliart? 237hp, AWD, great looks IMO, and all for just under $26,000. Although if you're hugely into high quality interiors, it's not the most fantastic, and a lot of reviewer's complain about them. It's not that they're crappy or fall apart, but there are about 5 different shades of 'black' plastic in my '08.

The stupid douche has to disarm his alarm for the video? *roll eyes* Nukka please.
Also have to comment, the exhaust sounds like ******* garbage and the cars aren't even that impressive.
You want a good sounding exhaust? Allow me, please:
I don't care if they're overpriced, slow, or for people with small peni... Thats still one sexy motherfucking car, with one BADASS exhaust note.

Sadly a goal in my life is to own a F355 with that 10,000$ exhaust....
