I'm about to go buy some tape at HF. And I'll walk around the counter and grab a 20% coupon. They won't say **** to me! I'm a real *****...

Thanks for the vote of confidence, I might own me an engine hoist on Friday.

I printed a whole stack of HF coupons (the same one over and over again) I found on the web. Every time I tried to use it they told me it was "fake" but still gave me the discount. Once or twice I had to say "well, just put this stuff back because I don't want any of it" and they rethought their policy.

Yah, I posted that message before I had gotten a response from you. So buying a hoist is out for now.

Yeah, it is one of those things that you should probably never buy (if you have friends who are gear heads). After you use it once it just sits around taking up space for years until time to use it again.

This.

I thought I wanted one...and just had to walk around it and it's unused space for months after using it once.

I got lucky and caught it below $100 though, and later sold it for $125.

You have a birthday 365 days a year, right?

At my HF, they scan the coupon I posted and the barcode always goes through, FWIW.
