I can buy these 15 inch civic rims from a friend for $100. Then I would have them sandblasted and powdercoated BLACK for about $120. And I would still need tires. Is it worth it? I want to also keep my 14's because the tires are pilots and $. But I wouldn't mind a little bling. I hate to say this, but I had some heavy 16s on it for a summer but the car drove like ****. But bigger rims look awesome on these cars. What should I do?
what do they weigh? I just purchased some '99 15x6s for $200 with tires. They can be had for cheap, and at 13lbs. they arent bad to run some 205/50s. Not to mention the +40 offset, so I'm looking at about .5"-1" wider stance.

I really don't care what they look like...I'm still rocking dasies! I'd rock hot pink rims on the track if they had good tires on them, doesn't bother me.

I was helping swap headers on a red nsx last weekend and the wheels on it looked great. Then I realized they were just powdercoated stock wheels. That got me thinking about these. But its hard to visualize it.

I demand to see them in black.
I know these rims are a little too civicish, but they would be unique. I wish I could see them in black and mounted, but I am inclined to agree with you guys. Oh well. Next time, just tell me what I want to here.

For the price, I'd rock them. Powdercoating will hide some of their ancestry, but whatever... they were cheap. For 100 buck wheels... I'd use some sandpaper and a good spraybomb job honestly.
I just went this OEM route for my track wheels...

I love oem wheels...
