Did you think about this one before posting, killer? If you brake check someone, you're going 50 and they're going 50. You brake check, so you drop to 45. They're going 50, you're going 45. It's a 5mph collision. Pretty fucked? Hope you're not on a jury for a personal injury case any time soon, a 5mph collision isn't even a jolt, there's no mechanism for injury. It's damage to a bumper, which is plastic.

Besides, in FL, there's a presumption of guilt in a rear end collision unless you can prove the person cut you off and the rear-end was unavoidable. You brake-check someone and they hit you, they were too close to avoid teh collision and they're at fault. If you don't mind getting your car fucked up and waiting for their insurance to fix it, it's a good lesson to teach, haha.

I'm a moron because I care about traffic laws and nobody else does? Not saying I'd brake check hard enough to cause a collision, but the possibility sure is there.

Or buy bullbars for your car, front and rear, and brake check til your heart is content.

Don't ride my bumper and you won't have to call me a moron as you get the ticket

No ones ever actually hit me. They typically put the cell phone down though.

Oh my god. Do not ever breed.

If you brake check someone hard enough to warrent a hit, there is more than a 5mph delta. Get hit from the back with a 10 or 15mph delta, which is more realistic, you are going to go out of control.

Brake checking is a bit childish...plus some day you'll do it to the wrong soccer mom and end up with a holy car, you'll do it to an off duty cop; or the person you brake check freaks out, swerves into the ditch/oncoming traffic/car next to them and you just caused an accident to teach them a lesson. Oops, just killed your grandma...sorry.

I think my method is much better.

I have a CWP. I won't pull out my concealed unless my life is being threatened, but don't think for a second I'll sit there and let some road-raging left-lane-hogging ******* try to take some shots at me without getting a bullet in his tires, if not his ******' head.

So you brake check an off duty cop who ends up hitting you, I don't care who it is, he's still at fault for following too closely. Ain't no judge out there who can deny that fact. Proof is in the pudding when the *** end of your car has damage.

Regardless......I think the point of all this is, the cops need to do more than just enforce the speed limit via pulling over speeders. Cars that hog the left lane are a hazard to the flow of traffic, whatever speed traffic may be going. And that creates anger in those who are stuck behind said *******. That's more dangerous, IMO, than letting traffic go 75-80mph when there's normal, orderly flow.

If people are driving slowly in the left lane I usually tailgate them hard for a few seconds and flash my lights. Then I back off for a while and then repeat the process.

I hate when people get offended during lane closures at people who drive up the closed lane to merge with traffic *cough doppelganger** cough. It's called the zipper method and it's what the DOT INSTRUCTS motorists to do.

You sheep have fun stacking up in one lane. Those of us that pay attention to the rules of the road will continue charging up to the cones.
