How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways

well, it still needs tuning, but it seems to hold up pretty well overall. the only problem so far, it gets confused when coming down from acceleration when manual shifting for the highest RPMs, I think its because I replaced the stock ECU... it used to be a sluggesh start from idle to 2k, but since MS and higher boost set, it has gotten faster and I hit peak boost at around 3k so, and it gets pretty quick after that, for a slushbox miata. I would hope it would handle some power since mazda used the same auto trans from the late l80's 300zx turbo'es.

Woot, found my 302 for my RX7. Get to go pick it up tomorrow. Apparently has a bit of work already done. It's out of an '85 with 112k miles, with factory forged pistons, new E7 heads with upgraded dual springs and a Howards .498/.520 cam, upgraded rocker setup and a bunch of new stuff like water pump and timing chain and cover. Only $350, which compared to the rest of the project is the cheapest part. Still comes with no intake manifold and carb, which was going to be replaced anyway with better stuff. Step 1 complete.
Though it probably would run fine as is, in my typical fashion I really want to tear it apart, bore it and rebuild with aftermarket parts and machine the head as well as port it and get oversized valves. Amazing how cheap domestic parts are compared to import stuff.

Off to a good start at least lol
So does anyone have any good recommendations for app building guides/tutorials? Specifically Xcode for apple. For now at least, I do plan on doing android as well down the road.
I'm the most impatient person in the world and I'm expecting to have this finished in a week. Only problem is I have ZERO experience with anything like this. I started a tutorial and about halfway through it turned into nerd city and I was ready to smash the keyboard.
Hopefully there's a basic tutorial out there that doesn't require you to be a ******* scientist to follow it. I tired for an hour with this last one, but I really just got lost in the language. I'm searching around for more but if you know of any good starter ones, please share!

Oh yeah bitches! I'm now entering uncharted territory. I have always been an inline 4 and rotary guy, now I have my first V8 to tinker with.
Brand new E7 heads, nice double spring setup, will have Comp roller rockers and a mild amount shaved from the heads, 9.5:1 just wont cut it. Block looks good, still has signs of crosshatching after 110k miles. Factory forged pistons, and some other goodies. Since he broke one of the corners off where the bellhousing bolts up, he threw in a set of nice Fel-Pro head gaskets that are worth about $100. I can have the tab welded back on, or just use a longer bolt and a nut, since there is a large flat spot behind it. Also got a almost new water pump, stock lifters, pushrods and rockers, as well as stamped valve covers and gaskets. Not a bad little deal for $350.

Thanks babe. Tasted great
So after 6 hours of trying to learn how to make an app I think it may be best if I pay someone to do it. At least the coding part of it cause there's no way I can take the time to learn it myself. I'm regretting even investing today into it, seeing that I got NOTHING accomplished.
I'm thinking of sending a message to one of these nerds on youtube and offering them a PayPal payment if they can put together something for me.
