Yes they do suck. The US southeast in the summer is terrible with these little bastards. I can stand in my backyard in the middle of summer and on humid days within a few seconds I will have 3 or 4 on my arms and/or legs. End up a bloody mess just in the time it takes to change oil, from squashing these pesky *******.

Haha, cheating the system. I'm used to the day of Windows XP when you could pass your copy of the CD to all of your friends and never have an issue with the activation. Just built my aunt a new computer and thought I was going to use an old copy of Vista Ultimate I have on another machine, but Microsoft saw that install and denied it on her computer. However, I used my downloaded (legally) 7 Professional CD that I burned ISO, and used it and it gave me no trouble. Both my machine and hers are activated. Woot. I was scared I would have to take money out of my pocket to buy another $200 copy of Windows. Build her a quad core AMD machine, ASUS mobo, 2GB DDR2, decent case, card reader, 380W Antec PSU, 500GB Caviar Blue HDD, DVD burner... all for $225. Thrifty. Of course I used some old parts I had laying around, and only had to buy the motherboard, memory, power supply, HDD and DVD drive. Of course this build was $$$ out of my pocket, but I'm that nice of a guy. Could have sold the other parts for $300-$400.
